‘Tis better to give than receive…?

For this week’s TMI Tuesday why don’t you tell us:

1. What was your favorite gift that you received (gift giving holidays Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or heck even if you had a birthday in the month of December that can count)?  The small gifts my son gave me, with the small amount of money he had.

2. What was the most practical gift that you received? The gas card and car insurance payment. (Or maybe it was the candles and bubble bath... hmmmmmmm)

3. What was the silliest, most fun, crazy or impractical gift that you received? Yet ANOTHER 2012 calendar... excuse me, but how many calendars can one person have. To date, I have at least 6 of them... not sure where I'll put them, but I have them.

 4. If you had a special holiday meal, what was your favorite food? My brother made an awesome roast turkey - he is a great cook

Bonus:  Share the recipe of your favorite food from the holiday meal. Didn't make the meal, kinda hard to share the recipe... sorry...

Bonus, bonus:  Whatcha doin’ for New Year’s Eve?  Probably the same as years past... nothing too exciting. My son and I hang out at home and watch movies. I make boiled shrimp and cocktail sauce, and then we toast with Angelique (an almond flavored bubbly). And I TRY my damdest to stay awake to see the ball drop.
