It is the day after Christmas and I really haven't been looking forward to Christmas this year. But I am trying to make the most of it, so here are some answers (better late than never)...
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? wrapping paper - gift bags are so impersonal
2. Real tree or artificial tree? We have an artificial - less needles to clean up!
3. Angel on the tree top or a star? Currently a silver angel
4. Favourite ornament, theme or colour? I love pinks and blues and purples,
5. When do you put up the tree? The first week or so of December (but it depends on when my son wants to)
6. When do you take the tree down? A few days after Christmas
7. Favourite gift received as a child? not sure
8. Hardest person to buy for? my mom
9. Easiest person to buy for? myself *wink*
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? mail... and when I'm ambitious, I even make my own
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Ugly sweater
12. Favourite Christmas Movie? Muppet Christmas Carol (or White Christmas)
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Dec 23rd
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope, not that I remember
15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas? Turkey
16. Favourite Christmas song? Silent Night
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Go to my brothers about 15 minutes away
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph
19. Can you name all of the 7 Dwarves? Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Lazy, Bashful, Dopey
20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning
21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The commercialism
22. Do you hang mistletoe nope
23. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? probably around 12 or so
24. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you? spending time with my son
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I don't know... and didn't get much... so I guess that's the norm
I like the smell of a live tree but they can be messy so I do artificial now.
